Focus 1.6 mk1 Pinking. Hope I can get some ideas! I have a '03 1.6 focus zetec manual. When I put the engine under load (usually after changing gear or just pulling away) I get a fairly loud clatter from the engine, sounds like it could be pinking. I really don't know what could be causing this.
